Joondalup adds two more to the Wolfpack

The Joondalup Wolves have announced the signings of Rebecca Benson and Gabe Chadinha for 2021 NBL1 West season. 

The Joondalup Wolves have announced the signings of Rebecca Benson and Gabe Chadinha for 2021 NBL1 West season. 

Benson, a 5’9” guard, is a returning 2010, 2011 and 2015 Wolfpack MVP, leading scorer and 2015 SBL all-star.

Throughout Benson’s Preeminent Development League career she has played over 200 games in the SBL, played in the WNBL for the Perth Lynx and spent some time playing in the South East Australian Basketball League.

Benson has already played two games with the Wolves and has averaged nine points per game.

Chadinha, a 6’3” guard, has represented the Wolves all the way through juniors.

He averaged 23 points last year during the WABL season and was awarded the WABL MVP in 2018.

Chadinha has also played in Joondalup's D-League program for the last two years.

He made his senior debut for the Wolves in the West Coast Classic last year and has already played two games of NBL1 this season where he is averaging two-and-a-half points per game.
