Kathleen Scheer has Hobart homecoming

Kathleen Scheer will return to the Hobart Chargers for the 2021 NBL1 South season.

Scheer first joined the Chargers in 2013 and has played there ever since, apart from the 2019 NBL1 campaign, where she played for the Nunawading Spectres.

Now Scheer returns to Hobart in what could be her NBL1 swansong.

“It is exciting to have Kathleen secured for another season, it was really uncertain over the last month, then weeks and days whether we could get her into the country,” coach Mark Nash told the Hobart Mercury.

“Everyone around Hobart has been asking if Kathleen was coming back, it is terrific for the club and also for her in what is most likely to be her last NBL1 season.”
