The RedCity Roar have signed Sydney Kings Development Player Jayden Hodgson for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North season.
A junior from the central coast of NSW and a product of the Centre of Excellence in Canberra, Hodgson was a member of the U17 Australian team which won a silver medal at the world championships in Dubai 2014 alongside former RedCity Roar player, Harry Froling.
He signed with the Sydney Kings as a Development Player before choosing the college route to develop his game.
He played four years in NCAA division one schools, at Bradley and Grand Valley State before returning to Sydney and securing a DP spot again with the Kings.
At 191cm (6'3"), Hodgson has the skills and size to give coach Colby Stefanovic some flexibility in where he plays.
"We are excited to pick up a player with Jaydens pedigree and experience," Roar GM, Peter Pollock said.
Coach Stefanovic added: " We are thrilled to have a talent like Jayden join our team.
"We are looking for him to have a break-out year and push our team to a new level."
