The Knox Raiders have appointed Matthew Nunn as head coach of the men's NBL1 team.
The Raiders made it to the first round of the NBL1 South finals, losing to the Bendigo Braves in a close seven-point loss.
Nunn has an impressive resume within Victorian basketball. His recent coaching positions have included being the head coach of Victoria’s U20 state team in both 2022 and 2021. He was also an assistant coach of the Ballarat Miners NBL1 teams in 2020 and 2021.
Knox CEO Grant Harrison said Nunn will be instrumental in building Knox Raiders’ NBL1 side into a championship-winning team.
“We are delighted to welcome Matt to Knox Basketball in what will be a pivotal NBL1 season for the Men’s Raiders," he said.
"Having won three championships in this league before taking up head coaching roles, Matt’s coaching expertise, track record and leadership will be critical to our success in 2023 and will lay a strong foundation for years to come."
