Tanner Krebs will be playing in new colours this season, signing for the Gold Coast Rollers.
Krebs won the MVP award at USC Rip City in the 2021 Coles Express NBL1 North season but joins the Rollers this year to link up with Brisbane Bullets teammate Jason Cadee.
In addition to winning the MVP award, Krebs was also named in the league's All-Star 5, also alongside Cadee.
Rollers coach Anthony Petrie said he was excited to have Krebs on the Gold Coast soon.
"We are absolutely thrilled that Tanner has decided to join the Gold Coast Rollers," Petrie said.
"Since he has returned from college I’ve really liked the way he plays the game of basketball.
"I had the chance to play against him in NBL1 North last year and I noticed some things that he did throughout the contest that really stood out to me more than just his natural ability to put the ball in the basket.
"I know for a fact that Tanner has the ability/work ethic to become a regular contributor at NBL level on both ends of the floor and I’m excited to help him keep adding to his game that will enable him to grow as a player.
"Adding a piece to the puzzle like him allows us to become more flexible in the way we will be able to attack different contests due to his unique skill set.
"As with all our signings, I am most pleased after the numerous conversations we have had about basketball and everything in between, that he is a great young man that will add so much more to our association than just being good at basketball."
