Liana Kinkela and Simon Conn Sign for 2022

The Waverley Basketball Association are pleased to announce Liana Kinkela and Simon Conn have signed for the 2022 NBL1 season.

Liana a Junior at the Club currently in our Under 18-1 Girls has worked hard to earn the opportunity to play in our NBL1 team. Liana previously made the Vic Metro U16 team in 2019. Liana is a very versatile big with an excellent skill set that will be important for our team in 2022. It’s great to see yet another Falcons Junior get the opportunity to play at this level!

Simon needs no introduction in the NBL1, he is one of the best bigs in the league and has been for a long time. Simon is coming off a good 2021 season where he averaged 15 points and 7 rebounds for the Nunawading Spectres. Simon is a massive addition to our team and adds another dimension in the bigs department.
