Logan Thunder sign Indiah Bowyer for 2021 NBL1 North season

Indiah Bowyer has signed with the Logan Thunder Women for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

Indiah Bowyer has signed with the Logan Thunder Women for the 2021 NBL1 North season.

Bowyer is a current member of the Australian U19 Gems squad and has previously represented Australia at the FIBA U15 Women's Oceania Championship.

She has also represented Queensland as a junior and brings athleticism, toughness and a strong work ethic to the Thunder program.

Logan Thunder Women head coach Brayden Heslehurst said he was delighted to have Bowyer on board for the upcoming season.

"We're really excited to add another talented Queensland junior to our already strong group of youngsters in our team," he said.

"Not only is Indi's addition a huge bonus for our team and chances of winning an NBL1 title but it's also huge for her development as she gets to learn from the likes of Mikhaela Cann, Ashley Taia, Chevannah Paalvast and Mikaela Ruef.

"I expect Indi to play a huge role this season with her athleticism, ability to play multiple positions on both ends of the floor as well as her toughness.

"I also expect her to get better and better as the season goes on and as she continues to learn from our leadership group.

"It's great to have another young gun on our roster with a huge future for fans to watch."

Logan commences its NBL1 North campaign against the RedCity Roar on Saturday 15 May.
