Maitland's men's roster takes shape with Millburn signing

The Maitland Mustangs have announced their first player re-signing for 2022, with local star Daniel Millburn committing for the inaugural NBL1 East season.

Millburn has represented the Mustangs right through since U12s and is one of their finest homegrown talents.

He is coming off a huge 2021 campaign in the Waratah League, averaging 22.8 points per game (second highest in the league) at 47.5 percent from the field.

Coming into his sixth season with the senior men's team, Millburn will be a major piece in the team's success.

When asked about the upcoming season, Millburn said: "I am excited about the new competition and getting back on court for a full season with the fellas!"

Coach Luke Boyle is ecstatic to have Millburn back on board.

"Dan is one of the most dominant scorers in the league, and we can't wait to have him back in black and red in 2022," he said.
