The Mandurah Magic have added Lily Fitzgerald and Aimee Brett to their 2022 NBL1 West women's roster.

Fitzgerald spent the 2021 season with Rockingham and featured in 10 games.

As a Mandurah local, the Magic is thrilled to have her on board for the 2022 season.

Brett makes the move from NBL1 Central to NBL1 West, after averaging 6.43 points, 2.31 assists and 2.93 rebounds per game for Forestville.

She will join her twin sister Kelsey in Magic colours next year and expressed her excitement about that prospect.

"I am super excited to join the Mandurah family," Brett said.

"I am looking forward to the new season with new goals.

"I can't wait to push on and off the floor and show what I can do."

Mandurah Women's Head Coach Vlad Alava added: " We're very pleased to secure Aimee.

"She's a young player driven to succeed and adds high level talent that will really add a positive impact to our team.

"She's very active and tenacious on the court, is only 12 months out of being in the WNBL with the Lightning and she's looking to elevate her game and achieve goals she's set for herself that align with our team goals."

Alava also appreciated the link from last season to next.

"There's a certain feel-good link with Kelsey, who wa just a gem of a person and a player, and I'm sure Aimee will write her own great story here.

"We can't wait to have her on-board with us in 2022."
