Mandurah adds 11 players to roster ahead of NBL1 West tip-off

The Mandurah Magic has announced a late flurry of signings ahead of NBL1 West tipping off on Friday night, with Emma Klasztorny, Akau Deng, Fred Williams, Brian Carlwell, Xavier Shaw, Casey Mihovilovich, Bronte Corke, Dylan Griechen, Mark Riegert, Jhonny Lutula and Grace Lawler all putting pen to paper.

The Mandurah Magic has announced a late flurry of signings ahead of NBL1 West tipping off on Friday night, with Emma Klasztorny, Akau Deng, Fred Williams, Brian Carlwell, Xavier Shaw, Casey Mihovilovich, Bronte Corke, Dylan Griechen, Mark Riegert, Jhonny Lutula and Grace Lawler all putting pen to paper.
Klasztorny is coming off a 24-game season for the Magic in 2019, averaging 9.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
Before beginning his tenure with Mandurah, Deng spent time at North Platte Community College in the United States.
Teammate Williams has also played basketball at college level, spending a season with Madonna University in 2012-13.
Carlwell crosses over from the Perry Lakes Hawks, after playing 30 games for them in 2019 and averaging 9.3 points and 3.4 rebounds.
Shaw is also a new addition to the Magic, having spent 2020 with Geraldton.
On the other hand, Mihovilovich has been with Mandurah since 2016.
This will be Corke's first season with Mandurah after spending the 2019 and 2020 seasons with Hornsby.
Meanwhile for Griechen and Riegert, this season will mark their second as Magic players.
Lutula has been busy in the past two years, splitting his minutes between the Joondalup Wolves and Carver Bible in the NCAA.
For Lawler, 2020 will be her third in Magic colours.
Mandurah tips off for 2021 on Friday night at home against the South West Slammers.
