Boag had a very productive season, averaging 14.5 points per game, along with 12.6 rebounds per game, 3.3 assists per game and 2.8 steals per game, culminating with her winning this year's Magic MVP.
Mandurah Magic head coach Vlad Alava was glowing in praise of his returning star forward.
"Carly had a really good season this year and it's great that she's returning to the Magic yet again," he said.
"She picked up 17 double-doubles out of the 19 games we played so that shows you the impact she has in games."
Alava said that Boag is an integral part of the Magic's 2022 campaign as they look to build on this year's first-round playoff elimination.
"Carly's skillset on both ends of the floor is first-rate and she's got an incredibly team-first, selfless attitude," he said.
"We've got goals we want to achieve next year and Carly will certainly help us achieve those."
The Magic are thrilled about Boag bringing extensive WNBL and NBL1 experience to their women's program.
