Mangakahia returns, Diing joins: Northside continue roster announcements

The Northside Wizards have signed Tiana Mangakahia and Lual Diing for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North season.

Mangakahia played a starring role in the 2021 season following her training experience with the Phoenix Mercury and Australian Olympics squad.

"I'm so excited to be a part of Northside Wizards again," she said.

"It's really nice to be back around my family.

"I'm looking forward to working with (coach) Bec, Shyla (Heal) and our team!"

Diing comes across to the Wizards after finishing in the top 10 of NBL1 Central for points and rebounds while representing Central Districts.

"I chose Northside Wizards because I wanted to be around a professional environment that will help me develop," he said.

"Having a chance to play with Mitch McCarron was also a big part because I've played with him before and he brings great leadership, unselfishness and also makes everyone around him better."
