The Eastern Mavericks have begun 2022 with a bang, signing Oksana Gouchie-Provencher and Giannis Dimakopoulos for the upcoming NBL1 Central season.

Standing at 195cm, Gouchie-Provencher hails from Canada.
The exciting forward attended college at Stony Brook and was known for her defensive pressure, going on a 16-game streak with at least one block per game.
Dimakopoulos is an up and coming centre from Great Britain who stands at a whopping 218cm.
He attended college at UC Irvine after going undrafted in the NBA in 2017.
The Eastern Mavericks had a tough year in 2021 with both sides missing the finals, so expect improvement and perhaps a different brand of Mavs basketball in 2022.
