McKendrick to make her mark at Mavericks as playing assistant

Natural leader Mollie McKendrick will take the reins as playing assistant coach at the Eastern Mavericks this season.
The 28-year-old forward crosses over to the Mavericks after playing 18 games for South Adelaide in 2019.
Before this, she spent three years at the Southern Tigers with impressive averages of 11.1, 16.8 and 21.2 points in each season.
In her college years, McKendrick attended Boston University, where she played 43 games over two years.
She will be taking to the floor for the Eastern Mavericks in their NBL1 Central opening round clash against Forestville on Saturday.
