Michael Harris | Signs For The Castec Rural Pioneers 2022 Season

The Castec Rural Pioneers are thrilled to announce the signing of Michael Harris for the 2022 NBL1 South Season.

Harris is an exciting emerging prospect who played the 2021 season with the Forestville Eagles in the NBL1 Central competition and has previously had court time as a member of the Adelaide 36ers NBL squad.  

During the 2021 season Harris averaged an impressive 22.9 points, 4.95 assists and 7.25 rebounds per game. Three times Harris scored more than 35 points in a game during the recent season.

The Castec Rural Pioneers Head Coach Richard Hill said signing Harris fits the Pioneers recruiting criteria perfectly as he is a talented young South Australian player and already a high performer.  As a bonus, he is a former Mount Gambier junior player.

“Coming off a season where he was named as the Youth Player of the Year the timing is perfect for Michael to return to Mount Gambier.

Michael is a dynamic scorer and deceptive athlete who aspires to become an NBL player.  I look forward to helping him continue to work towards his goals,” Hill said.
