Morison and Tonks become Canberra's inaugural NBL1 East players

Basketball ACT delivered its basketball family a couple of early Christmas presents with a couple of big player announcements for the Canberra Gunners and Canberra Nationals ahead of their debut in the 2022 NBL1 East season.

Glenn Morison will be back in Canberra Gunners colours in 2022, set to cast a long shadow over his NBL1 East competitors with his dominant inside presence.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Tonks will also be back in a Canberra Nationals uniform in 2022, looking to lead the team with ball in hand, as well as continuing to be the team's premier perimeter point-scorer.

Morison will be coached by Peter Herak in the Gunners' line-up while Tonks will be led by WNBL assistant coach Natalie Hurst in the Nationals' line-up.
