NBL legend Ninnis back where it all began with Panthers

The South Adelaide Panthers have welcomed Scott Ninnis home as their new NBL1 Central men's head coach.

The South Adelaide Panthers have welcomed Scott Ninnis home as their new NBL1 Central men's head coach. 

As a player, Ninnis is a three-time NBL champion, four-time SA State League champion, Adelaide 36ers Life Member and a Woollacott Medallist. 

He was also selected for a number of Boomers games in 1993. 

As a coach, he added two more NBL champions to his name as an assistant. two Central Adelaide Basketball League (CABL) Conference championships with Sturt and was named CABL Coach of the Year on two occasions. 

Now, Ninnis is returning to where it all began with the Panthers. 

He had three stints at South Adelaide between 1985-1990, 1993-1995 and 1997-1998. 

In that time, he won four championships and will undoubtedly want to bring that same success back to the club.
