NBL superstar and NBL1 North Finals MVP Nathan Sobey has re-signed with the Ipswich Force for the 2024 season.
After averaging 24.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists last regular season, Sobey was named to the NBL1 North Second Team alongside then-teammate Jaylin Galloway.
The new South East Melbourne Phoenix guard led Ipswich through the NBL1 North finals, defeating the Gold Coast Rollers in game three and being named Finals MVP as a result.

He returns to Ipswich with a new-look roster, as Kyrin Galloway will suit up for Townsville and Jaylin is currently playing in the G-League. In their absence, the Force have recruited former Bullets teammate DJ Mitchell to play alongside Sobey and captain Jason Ralph.

Championship coach Chris Riches said he's excited for the former Olympian to return to Ipswich this season.
