The RedCity Roar have welcomed Robert McCowan, Nelson Larkins, Jarrett Croff and Spencer Parker for the upcoming Coles Express NBL1 North season.
McCowan was one of a number of players that trialed for the NBL1 squad and showed enough to coach Colby Stefanovic to suggest he would be a good fit for the team.
McCowan is a an energetic defender who can shoot the ball and makes good decisions within the offence and at the defensive end.
He played his first NBL1 season last year with the Logan Thunder.
Larkins averaged a league-leading nine assists per game with Portlaoise in the Ireland National League and was sixth in scoring at 22 points per game.
Larkins played in the 2018 QBL Grand Final with Mackay and was with the Bendigo Braves in NBL1 South Conference last season.
Larkins has spent the past three years alternating between Europe and Australia after spending four years as an NBL Development Player with the Adelaide 36ers.
Croff adds significant height, standing at 208cm (6'10"), but also comes with a varied skillset.
He last played in Queensland for the South West Metro Pirates in 2019 alongside recent RedCity Roar signing Nelson Larkins.
Parker led the Gold Coast Rollers to the Grand Final in in 2019 with some blistering performances including a 41-point blast against the Townsville Heat.
He averaged 23 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals while shooting at 35 percent from the three-point line and 50 percent from the field.
