NBL1 Central champion returns to West Adelaide

NBL1 Central All-Star Five member and reigning champion Jasmin Fejo has re-signed with the West Adelaide Bearcats for the 2023 NBL1 season. 

Fejo averaged 19 points, five rebounds and five assists for the championship Bearcats, leading them to the Coles Express NBL1 National Finals where she averaged 11 points against the nation's best teams.

The women’s NBL1 Central finals was a tight race to the finish, where the Bearcats finished on top. Fejo had 14 points and 10 assists in the Grand Final in their win against the Sturt Sabres. 

The 22-year-old is currently with the Adelaide Lightning, alongside NBL1 Central stars Brooke Basham, Sam Simons and the North Adelaide Rockets’ newest recruit Lauren Mansfield.
