Clinical Coleman can’t shake South in Southern Showdown Classic

The South Adelaide Panthers jumped back into contention for the five as they grabbed an important split win ending the Southern Tigers two game streak 86-92 at the Cage. “The Truth” Cameron Coleman did everything he could to wrestle it from the Panthers with 30 points including a staggering 5 of 8 from the perimeter along with 5 rebounds and assists, 3 steals with four other Tigers also making double figures. The Panthers got it done with five double figure scorers of their own led by Sam Johns with 20 points, 7 rebounds and assists, a double double to Alex Mudronja (18 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists) and a near one for Owen Hulland (20 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists).  

Second Half Sabres secure second consecutive win

The Sturt Sabres steered themselves away from the Eastern Mavericks 83-123 after a brave first half from the home side saw them within single figures at the main break. The shooting gallery was lit up by Keanu Rasmussen with 30 points, Sam Daly (19 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists) and Joel Spear (15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists) for the away side with six players making the double mark. The home side got another back up performance from Tom Cromarty with 23 points at 61 percent, 6 rebounds and 3 assists along with another double double to William Wise III with 17 points and 15 rebounds.     

Diing the bell as Lions sound warning

The Central District Lions have knocked off a team ahead of them on the table as they start to climb 87-70 over the Woodville Warriors at the Den. Lual Diing was electric all night with 32 points at 66 percent and 9 rebounds along with Shaq Maharaj who brought up another plethora of scores with 19 points and 5 rebounds. The Warriors minus Julian Jacobs were led by Joe Jackson with 19 points and 13 rebounds and Luke Stanbridge with 16 points and 8 rebounds.    

McVeigh monster blows Eagles from the skies

42 points from Jack McVeigh has shot the Rockets to their fifth win in a row and the top five after they claimed the split 104-80 at the Launch Pad. McVeigh also compiled 10 rebounds and 3 assists and along with Verle Williams (22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists) destroyed the away side. Michael Harris was the best for the Eagles with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists supported well by Brandon Brine with 17 points and 8 rebounds.  

Norwood Flames vs West Adelaide Bearcats has been postponed for future week
