Round 10 of NBL1 Central saw the Lion Queens and Kings in a rare double act win, Adelaide 36ers of old and new going head-to-head, an impressive defensive denial by the unbeaten Sabres and a 15-year-old Tiger prodigy lighting it up in his first start only to be upstaged by the Jawan.

De La Cerda nailed 22 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in her sides win with Tiahna Sears potent with 19 points, 16 rebounds joining her with a double double. The entirety of the Flames points came from their starting five with Alek Akuen once again huge against the Lions with 14 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks.

Dynamic denial of Rockets masterclass by Brazel and the brilliant Sabres
Not only did soon to be U19 Gem Tayla Brazel produce 20 points, six rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks – but her side put on a masterclass of dominant defence defusing the Rockets 91-49 at the Cave in Springbank.
Jasmin jazzes up Bearcats to second half haul
Jasmin Fejo was at again for the West Adelaide Bearcats with 18 points, five assists and rebounds in her sides 65-81 convincing win against the South Adelaide Panthers at the Jungle in Mitchell Park. Paraguayan centre Andrea Aquino was also a handful with 12 points and rebounds and three blocks with veteran Genna Anderson producing 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Sixers old and new go at it in Jungle
Adelaide 36ers of old and new went at it in the Jungle with West Adelaide Bearcat Lachlan Olbrich with 30 points and nine rebounds going head-to-head with South Adelaide Panther Alex Starling who finished with 31 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three blocks in the Bearcats 82-95 win. Another former sixer in Anthony Drmic provided some big numbers too with 26 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists.
Lions King with Baker cooking up twice a dozen
The Central District Lions have their “Lion king” to thank for their win 88-91 over the Norwood Flames as Kevin Baker cooked up 24 points and eight rebounds including seven crucial points in the final term. Trey McBride of the Flames nearly helped steal back the win with his 26 points, five rebounds and three assists.
15-year-old tiny Tiger Dickeson can’t deny the Stepney-up of Jawan
For the first thirty-five minutes of this one a 15-year-old prodigy named Alexander Dickeson stole the limelight in his first start for the Southern Tigers amassing 23 points including a whopping seven triples from twelve attempts – to go along side seven rebounds and four assists.
