Brazel gold towards back of Sabres thrilling win
Tayla Brazel was huge in the final term in leading the Sabres to their third straight win 66-68 over the North Adelaide Rockets with 22 points, eight rebounds and seven steals with five of them in the final quarter. Mikayla Williams also equalled the league record with 26 rebounds in her 15-point performance.

Wilson triple double lifts Flames to roasting of Lions
It was straight fire from the tip tonight for the Norwood Flames with 3x3 Asia Cup Gold Medallist Ally Wilson breathing life into the Flames with a 12 point, 16 rebound and 12 assist triple double in her sides 39-85 smoking of the Lions. Former Hobart Charger Sharna Thompson returned from injury to lead all comers with 26 points, eight rebounds and three steals.
McCalop halftime denial inspires Rockets to stirring win over Sabres
Koop McCalop delivered some big highlights including this one on half-time to eventually deny the Sturt Sabres victory in a pulsating 75-74 win at the Launch Pad. McCalop was supported by Akech Aliir who produced 20 points and eight rebounds with import Donoven Carlisle having a huge last quarter to finish with 13 points and five rebounds. Keanu Rasmussen of the Sabres had a shot to win it on the buzzer but went long to finish with 21 points and eight rebounds.
Janssan back for round two
If last week’s five triples weren’t enough how about this effort from Woodville Warriors Ben Janssan on three quarter time – in the Warriors third win of the season 61-75 over the Southern Tigers at the Cage.
