Fejo fires to bounce Bearcats back

Adelaide Lightning’s Jasmin Fejo went to work bouncing the Bearcats back into form with this half time buzzer beater and 29 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals breaking their four-game slide in their 67-83 win over the Eastern Mavericks.

Warriors Winter outlast Eagles in frantic Fransson final minutes.

A third win of the season for the Woodville Warriors was won 71-74 over the Forestville Eagles in a frantic final minute through the free throw line thanks to Emily Winter (23 points, nine rebounds and five assists) and Nicole Fransson's 1 points and 14 rebound double double.   

Matt Clarke McKendrick masterclass undoes Rocket duo

It takes the assistant coach of the Adelaide Lightning to know his players and Matt Clarke’s Southern Tigers executed the scout perfectly on North Adelaide Rockets Lauren Mansfield and Brooke Basham in their 83-61 win at the Cage. Mollie McKendrick dominated again with 36 points, 13 rebounds and five assists with Townsville Fire’s championship player Morgan Yaeger returning from the pine with 14 points.  

Forbes to the floor produces triple double delight for Sabres

Jordan Forbes put his foot to the floor for the third triple double of the season across both divisions with an electric 18 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists in his Sabres massive win over the Lions 55-99 at the Den. Jacob Rigoni was also damaging with 27 points and 12 rebounds in his double double.

Drmic and Olbrich devastating in second half onslaught  

Tasmanian Jackjumper recruit Anthony Drmic and Illawarra Hawk Lachlan Olbrich were devastating for the Bearcats to lead them on a 0-16 run to help their West Adelaide Bearcats run out 91-117 against the Mavericks at St Francis in Mount Barker. Drmic grabbed 37 points with six triples, 12 rebounds and seven assists and Olbrich 31 points and 12 rebounds. Mavericks skipper Jasper Rentoy recorded a career high 29 points and five assists and along with import Jack Hemphill (26 points, eight rebounds and fours assists) kept the Mavs in it for three and half quarters.    

DJ doubles up again in another Panthers Flames thrilling finish

Last year it came down to the last shot, but this time Alex Starling and Daniel Johnson made sure it was closed out as DJ doubled up for 27 points and 14 rebounds and Starling 15 points and 14 rebounds in the South Adelaide Panthers 80-84 win over the Norwood Flames at the ARC. All Flames starting five made double figures with Jack Stanwix leading the way with 18 points including a couple of big highlight slams once again.
