Near triple-double for Madeleine Norris
Sharks captain Madeleine Norris dropped seven, seven and seven to send the Illawarra Hawks back down the M1 Freeway with a loss.
This win keeps the Sharks cemented into the upper six teams for the NBL1 East more than a quarter of the way through the season.
Ella Dent continues to star
The Illawarra Hawks point guard Ella Dent has been one of the stars of the competition and tonight was no different.
With 20 points, nine rebounds and five steals, the two-way menace wasn't enough for the win but the Hawks will remain competitive with her on the court.
Will Hickey put on a show
The NBL rising star Will Hickey had another great performance tonight, dropping 32 points, 13 rebounds and three assists.
Hickey got to the line an outrageous 18 times (making 15 of them), while only shooting 33 percent from the field.
Lochlan Hutchison leads his Sharks
Sutherland Sharks star Lochlan Hutchison put up a massive game with 19 points, six rebounds and four assists to give the Sharks a hold in the top eight of the East Conference.
