A loaded NBL1 East slate was ready this Sunday, with seven games worth of action kicking off to close the weekend.

It was a good mix of close games and blowouts, with the Men's and Women's Manly, Canberra and Hills teams splitting their games.

Check out how the games went below.

WOMEN

Hills Hornets (56) def by Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (84)

A tough outing for Hills Hornets, who struggled to hang with the Sea Eagles from the jump, with the final 28-point deficit clearly showing the disparity between teams.

The Hornets were lead by starting trio Erica Pitman, Rhiannon Yetsenga and Taryn Mahoney, but Manly's team-first approach saw an even spread of starter and bench points, and the eventual win.

HILLS 56 (Mahoney 13, Yetsenga and Pitman 11)

MANLY 84 (Hodge 20, Delaney 17, Miller 13)

Illawarra Hawks (58) def by Canberra Nationals (65)

With both teams running shorthanded, it was a neck and neck game between these two teams, Canberra edging out the Hawks by only seven points.

Despite losing Lizzy Tonks early in the game to an injury, the Nationals were able to rally, and get the drop on an Illawarra team with only seven active players.

Whilst the young Hawks played hard, they simply weren't enough for the more experienced Canberra team.

ILLAWARRA 58 (Abel, Kirby and Chrystal Foy 11)

CANBERRA 65 (Boutzos 17, Solway 10, Langhorn and Lyall 9)

Inner West Bulls (71) def by Maitland Mustangs (76)

Another nailbiter, Inner West pushed Maitland to the absolute brink, coming within three points of their opponents, before a sloppy foul on a Maitland shot attempt put Hannah Griffin on the free-throw line, where she iced the game for the Mustangs.

Those two free throws were Griffin's 36th and 37th points of the contest, the Mustang shooting the absolute lights out - 58% including 6/11 from three.

Inner West also had some standout performers - Georgia Stirton had 21 - but Griffin simply refused to lose this game.

INNER WEST 71 (Stirton 21, Pogonza-Dumas 19, O'Flynn 12)

MAITLAND 76 (Griffin 37, Fox 16, Williams, Unicomb and Walker 6)

MEN

Maitland Mustangs (87) def by Inner West Bulls (90)

In a game that came down to the final possession, Inner West were able to keep their perfect season alive, while also ending their opponents.

Maitlands Daniel Milburn lead all scorers with 29, but Inner West's entire roster showed their firepower and took home the hard-fought win.

MAITLAND 87 (Milburn 29, Hunter 19, Parsons 12)

INNER WEST 90 (Maker 24, Adup 15, Signal 11)

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (41) def by Hills Hornets (82)

This game was an absolute demolition job from the Hornets, doubling their opponent's score in a 41-point win that never once felt in danger.

Hills were led by Liam Moss and Paul Brotherson, but the reason that the Hornets won was largely due to the Sea Eagles offensive shortcomings - only one player reached double digits, Francois Dazemar with 10.

MANLY WARRINGAH 41 (Dazemar 10, Faithfull 7, Clark 6)

HILLS 82 (Brotherson 23, Moss 20, Fidel 14)

Bankstown Bruins (79) def by  Central Coast Crusaders (87)

Central Coast have extended the Bankstown Bruins losing streak to three, thanks to an eight-point win today.

Four out of the five Crusaders starters scored at least 13 points, James Trustum leading with 20.

The Bruins had the game's top scorer, Nicko Timonera with 21, but that wasn't enough to secure that elusive first win of the season.

BANKSTOWN 79 (Timonera 21, Alexander 17, Saipaia 16)

CENTRAL COAST 87 (Trustum 20, Cracknell 18, Jenkins 14)

Canberra Gunners (89) def by Illawarra Hawks (97)

The Hawks flexed their muscles in this big-time win, taking down a smoking hot Canberra Gunners team thanks to 29 points from Keyondrei Gardner, as well as a 24-point 11-rebound double-double from Harry Morris.

Canberra competed well, with three starters eclipsing 20 points (Shaun Mills, William Mayfield and Glenn Morison), but the 24-12 final quarter delivered the Hawks a much deserved win.

CANBERRA 89 (Morison 21, Mills and Mayfield 20)

ILLAWARRA 97 (Gardner 29, Morris 24, Walker 15)
