NBL1 East vs Indonesia

The Indonesian men’s National Basketball team is back in Australia to take on select Coles Express NBL1 teams.

Having already toured the other conferences, the last leg of the exhibition tour will be in NBL1 East, with 2 exciting games taking place this weekend in Round 6 of the league.

Each of the completed games produced very tight results with NBL1 currently holding a slim 1 game win advantage over Indonesia.

Patrick Williamson, the Head Coach of Sutherland Sharks NBL1 Men's team said "It's always great to play high level competition and the boys are raring and ready to go. It's awesome for the guys to go up and test themselves against guys who have international experience, and for the people around the club to also be ablke to watch a game involving high quality players."

The first game will take place on Friday the 21st of April at The Snakepit Stadium, with the Illawarra Hawks taking on the Indonesian team at 6:30pm.

Doors will open from 5:00pm – so ensure you come early to secure the best seat in the house!

Sutherland Sharks are up next, taking the team on Sunday the 23rd of April at Sutherland Basketball Stadium, tipping-off at 3:00pm.

Doors will be open from 2:00pm, and is promising to be an exciting day for all basketball fans!
