NBL1 National Champion Megan McKay has signed with the Melbourne Boomers as an injury replacement for the remainder of the 23/24 WNBL season.
The NBL1 South MVP, Champion and NBL1 National Finals Champion and Championship Game MVP had the most dominant season in league history with the Bendigo Braves – going 28-0 across the 2023 season.
She’s re-signed with the Braves for next season after averaging 24 points, 12.4 rebounds and shooting 69.3% from the field for Bendigo.

She dropped a career-high 46 points with 15 rebounds in the Championship Game against the Norths Bears, clinching the National Title in August in front of her friends in family in Western Australia.
She was a free agent going into the WNBL season, left un-signed by her former WNBL team the Bendigo Spirit. She will now join the Boomers, alongside NBL1 South stars in Keely Froling, Sara Blicavs and Sherrie Calleia.
