The Logan Thunder have announced the return of 2021 Coles Express NBL1 North Championship Winner Chevannah Paalvast.
Paalvast returns following a successful 2021 campaign averaging 9.7 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game and 2.2 assists per game in 2021, while leading the Logan Thunder Women to the inaugural NBL1 North Championship.
Paalvast will play her third straight season for the Logan Thunder Women and brings a wealth of WNBL experience having previously played for the Bendigo Spirit, Canberra Capitals and Townsville Fire.
She is also an active member of the New Zealand Tall Ferns squad and recently competed in the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers following the NBL1 North Season.
Speaking about returning, Paalvast said: "I am most excited about the chance to defend our title and being around the culture at Logan Basketball.
"We need to make sure we are always progressing and improving by making sure no one is complacent because of last year and instead pushing to be even better."
Chevannah Paalvast joins Mikaela Ruef as the second player announced for the 2022 Logan Thunder Women’s roster.
