The Logan Thunder have announced that American Jeremy Kendle has re-signed for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North Season.
In his first season with the Thunder, Kendle averaged 21 points, eight assists and six rebounds per game, being awarded league MVP and All-Star 5 team member.
Kendle led the Logan Thunder Men to a 12-1 regular-season record and was one of the most talented scorers in the league on what was one of the highest-scoring NBL1 teams in the country in 2021.
Kendle has previously played NBL for the New Zealand Breakers, Adelaide 36ers, Brisbane Bullets and Sydney Kings.
He was also named a two-time All American in college (Bellarmine Knights), QBL MVP in 2015, SEABL champion and MVP.
Kendle loved his first season with the Logan Thunder Men and had this to say about returning: "I decided to come back to Logan for a number of reasons.
"Firstly, the leadership within the club and I share the same values.
"This creates mutual trust and respect that goes a long way in sport and life.
"Secondly, Coach and the boys empower me to be myself and lead.
"Also, there is so much room for growth and development both personally and professionally at Logan.
"Lastly, the strengths of the players we have coming back compliment my strengths on the court.
"As you get older and more mature you realise how much you need people who make you better and compliment what you have to offer.
"To add to the on-court positives, I absolutely love how the Logan basketball community have embraced my family and me as a coach.
"I have been fortunate enough to invest in many of our juniors and I’m looking forward to continuing to watch them grow.
"In order to win a championship, we need everybody to show up in pre-season in shape, hungry to work and get better.
"The league is shaping up to be even more competitive than last year.
"Therefore, we need to evolve as a group and take pride in working hard, working smart, and staying consistent with our convictions throughout the season."
