Townsville Heat picked up an 89-68 road victory over South West Metro Pirates at Hibiscus Sports Stadium on Friday night.

In a true team effort, the Heat registered all 10 players on the stats sheet in points and assists.

Heat centre Sam Froling, who made 7 of 9 field goals, led the way with a 16 points and 12 rebounds double double.

Jackson Todd (15 points) and Jalen Patton-Croker (15 points) also reached double figures for the visitors.

Pirates forward Jakobe Hunter top scored for South West Metro with 14 points and was joined by Joel Matysek (11 points) and Ramy Kodi (11 points) in double figures.

The Heat improved their record to 9-4 to hold third place behind Logan Thunder and Mackay Meteors. The Pirates are in 13^th place with a 2-11 record.
