A solid slate of games for your NBL1 South Sunday and it seemed like emphatic wins were the order of the day, with blowouts galore across the 10-game slate.

Check out the games below.

WOMEN

Ballarat Miners (73) def by Casey Cavaliers (82)

Despite a dominant first half from Casey in this game, Ballarat came back charging in the second half, but not quite enough to secure the win.

The Miners were lead by Jade Melbourne, who had 25 points, six rebounds and five assists, as well as three other starters scoring at least 13.

However, this wasn’t able to overcome the Cavaliers, who had two 20-plus scorers, and another two in double figures.

BALLARAT 73 (Melbourne 25, Aokuso 14, Brancatisano and Rinaldi 13)

CASEY 82 (Conti 24, Bell 21, Boothe 15)

Eltham Wildcats (50) def by Knox Raiders (88)

The Raiders went nuclear in this game, beating the Wildcats by 38-points in a game that got away from Eltham incredibly quickly.

Alicia Froling was incredible, with 25 points and 11 rebounds, while Klara Wischer put in 23 points of her own.

Eltham only managed two players in double figures, and combined with their three bench points was an effort that saw them completely blown out.

ELTHAM 50 (Leidel 17, Campbell 13, Wynne 9)

KNOX 88 (Froling 25, Wischer 23, Dawson 10)

Hobart Chargers (51) def by Melbourne Tigers (69)

The Tigers claimed their first win of the NBL1 season Sunday, taking down Hobart by 18 points.

For Melbourne, their success came from the trio of Tess Heal, Lily Carmody and Nikki Metcalfe, all three scoring at least 14 points.

Hobart had the game's highest scorer - Angela Tompkins with 21 - but not enough else to secure the win.

HOBART 51 (Tompkins 21, McCauley 14, Thompson 10)

MELBOURNE 69 (Heal 20, Carmody 15, Metcalfe 14)

Launceston Tornadoes (85) def by Waverley Falcons (92)

The Tornadoes lose a close one here, going down to the Falcons by only seven points.

Keely Froling was the standout, keeping Launceston in this game with 28 points and 10 rebounds, with Kelsey Griffin joining her in club double-double - 24 points and 15 rebounds.

But Waverley were equally prolific with double-doubles - Renae Mokrzycki and Carley Ernst both recording at least 20 points and 10 rebounds.

LAUNCESTON 85 (Froling 28, Griffin 24, Payne 15)

WAVERLEY 92 (Mokrzycki 21, Ernst 20, Cole 19)

MEN

Eltham Wildcats (69) def by Knox Raiders (95)

A masterclass was required from Knox to take down Eltham in this game, with the Raiders claiming a 26-point victory over the Wildcats.

Knox had scoring across the board, lead by Mason Peatling who had 21 points and nine rebounds.

Eltham had the game's top scorer - Mitchell Dance with 24 - but only one other player in double figures meant that the Wildcats fell well short.

ELTHAM 68 (Dance 24, Foxwell 12, Sykes, Short and Kuany 7)

KNOX 95 (Peatling 21, Foy 16, Te Rangi 15)

Casey Cavaliers (76) def by Ballarat Miners (89)

After losing the first quarter of this game by four points, Ballarat made sure not to drop another, eventually winning by 13.

Ballarat looked too good in this one, with two 20-plus scorers too much for the Cavaliers to handle.

CASEY 76 (Hickey 23, Perry 15, Bray 8)

BALLARAT 89 (Bungei 23, Crisp 21, Pozoglou 15)

North West Tasmania Thunder (69) def by Waverley Falcons (95)

A short-handed Thunder team was no match for the Falcons in this one, dispatched by 26-points.
Jake Heath was stunning, going for 30 points including five threes, and his running mate Simon Conn had 20 points and 11 rebounds.

To their credit, the Thunder put up a solid fight, but were squarely blown off the court by Waverley.

NW TASMANIA 69 (Atuer 15, Anyang 12, Beveridge 11)

WAVERLEY 95 (Heath 30, Dillon 21, Conn 20)

Melbourne Tigers (84) def by Hobart Chargers (97)

A tough loss here for Melbourne, with huge performances dropped by both teams as the Chargers claimed a 13-point victory.

The Tigers had duel 26-point performances from Mason Gaze and Michael Warne, but their lack of depth meant that no other scorer had above eight.

But for Hobart, Harry Froling continued his fine form, 24 points and 19 rebounds in a dominant inside performance.

MELBOURNE 84 (Gaze and Warne 26, Twigg and Chehhal 8)

HOBART 97 (Froling 24, Angerstein 22, Stanwix 15)

Keilor Thunder (88) def by Mount Gambier Pioneers (96)

In the final game of the day, the Thunder and the Pioneers brought us a tight contest, with Mount Gambier just edging out the competition towards the end.

Five Thunder players hit double digits - including four starters - with Jacob Lampkin the most impressive, 17 points and a game-high 20 rebounds.

But it was the Pioneers that claimed the win behind the 31 points of Nick Marshall.

KEILOR 88 (Kidd 18, Lampkin 17, Triplett 16)

MT GAMBIER 96 (Marshall 31, Harris 21, Rawls 17)
