With six games on the cards for the final day of Round 6, there was chaos across the NBL1 South with some stunning results.

There were some truly stunning individual performances, as well as some of the closest games that we've seen so far this season.

Check out the games below.

WOMEN

Sandringham Sabres (54) def by Knox Raiders (78)

A tough loss for Sandringham here, they simply did not possess the firepower to compete with the hot shooting Knox Raiders.

The Raiders were led by Klara Wischer and Alicia Froling, who combined for 42 points and 20 rebounds.

Brittany Smart was the top scorer for the Sabres with 16, but their lack of depth resulted in the 24-point loss.

SANDRINGHAM 54 (Smart 16, O’Neill 11, Pineau 9)

KNOX 78 (Wischer 22, Froling 20, Tessari 9)

Waverley Falcons (77) def by Keilor Thunder (84)

This was a game that was closer than the score suggests, but one which ultimately came down to the heroics of one player.

Waverley had some impressive performances; three of their players scored at least 14 points, led by Renae Mokrzycki with 19.

But the standout of the game was Maddie Garrick, who dropped 40 points - including 5-9 from three - as well as six assists, five rebounds and three steals to win the game.

WAVERLEY 77 (Mokrzycki 19, Todhunter 18, Ernst 14)

KEILOR 84 (Garrick 40, Andriuolo 16, Reed 8)

Diamond Valley Eagles (54) def by Ringwood Hawks (87)

Not a particularly close game between the Eagles and Hawks today, as the dominance of Ringwood’s starting five proved too much for the Diamond Valley team.

The Eagles only had two players in double figures - Sophie Burrows and Kate Oliver with 12 apiece - with Oliver also contributing 14 rebounds and eight assists, two shy of the elusive triple-double.

But Ringwood had four starters score at least 16 points, an impressive mark that led them to their eventual 33-point victory.

DIAMOND VALLEY 54 (Burrows and Oliver 12, Byrnes 9)

RINGWOOD 87 (Hermida 18, Whittle 17, Trotto and Strautmane 16)

MEN

Knox Raiders (79) def by Sandringham Sabres (80)

It doesn’t get any closer than this, with the Knox Raiders falling short by a single point, thanks to the late game defensive heroics of David Okwera.

The Raiders didn’t lack for scoring, with five separate players in double digits - Alex Robinson leading with 20.

However, the duo of Tohiraukura Smith-Milner and Tom Koppens with 16 points apiece were able to lead the Sabres to victory.

KNOX 79 (Robinson 20, Peatling 13, Acouth 12)

SANDRINGHAM 80 (Smith-Milner and Koppens 16, Barlow 12)

Keilor Thunder (74) def by Waverley Falcons (77)

In another close contest, the Falcons were able to survive a close encounter against the Thunder, with some huge play on both sides.

Four of the Keilor starters hit double-digits, led by Tyler Kidd with 24 points.

However, the efforts of Dexter Kernich-Drew - 28 points - and Tristan Forsyth - 21 points and 18 rebounds - were enough to secure the win for Waverley.

KEILOR 74 (Kidd 24, Dennis and Riak 11)

WAVERLEY 77 (Kernich-Drew 28, Forsyth 21, Lewis 11)

Ringwood Hawks (70) def by Diamond Valley Eagles (92)

After a close first half, the Eagles blew this game wide open in the second, keeping Ringwood to only 29 points.

Dejan Vasiljevic continued his hot form, with 31 points on 52.2% from the field including 5-11 from three.

Tim Guers led the Hawks in scoring with 22, but with only one other player joining him in double digits - Kyle Daggett with 16 - they were unable to keep up with Diamond Valley.

RINGWOOD 70 (Guers 22, Daggett 16, Latham 9)

DIAMOND VALLEY 92 (Vasiljevic 31, Manyang 12, Pineau 10)
