Women’s
Mount Gambier v Waverley Falcons
Down at the Ice House, the Pioneers will host the Waverley Falcons on Friday night. Off the back of Rebecca Cole’s 25 points and six assists in the elimination final against Knox the Falcons will now face the Pioneers in front of a loud Mount Gambier crowd.
At the start of the season, the Pioneers were the best team in South, despite slipping slightly, the Pioneers are still a loaded squad with Cassandra Brown and Sherrie Calleia leading the way. After only a six-point loss to Ringwood last weekend Mount Gambier will be hungry to make it to the Preliminary Finals.

The Spectres are a tough group, especially with the likes of Melbourne Boomer Rachel Antoniadou and Cassidy Mihalko. Can Nunawading hold off the Tornadoes? Find out on Saturday night at 6:30pm on Kayo Freebies here.

The momentum favours the Braves as they beat Knox in overtime by seven on Saturday with 22 points and 10 rebounds from Kuany Kuany.
