NBL1 stars had a strong showing as the Australian Boomers took home a third-consecutive FIBA Asia Cup title.

The Australian Boomers have taken home a third-consecutive FIBA Asia Cup title, defeating China in a nail-biting affair on Monday August 18.
The Boomers claimed a 90-89 victory in the final, with NBL1 stars Jaylin Galloway (Bankstown Bruins), Will Hickey (Sydney Comets), and Dash Daniels (Sandringham Sabres) contributing strongly throughout the tournament.

Galloway was the star of the show for the Boomers, winning the TISSOT Most Valuable Player award after a fantastic tournament. He averaged 15.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 steals, and finished with 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in the final.
He also headlined the All-Star Five for the tournament, joined by teammate and NBL star Jack McVeigh.

Will Hickey had a solid tournament, averaging 10.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.5 assists, including a 15-point display in the final. Dash Daniels also showed plenty of promise in his brief appearances off the bench, averaging 2.3 points and 1.2 rebounds for the tournament.
Galloway, Hickey, and Daniels will now begin their preparation for NBL26, which kicks off on Thursday, September 18
