The NBL1 West conference finals are underway this weekend!
In one of the most exciting conferences, the West has been jam-packed with stats, stories and action all season! Check out the Men’s first round fixtures below:
Qualifying Finals
Geraldton Buccaneers v Cockburn Cougars
The Geraldton Buccaneers have been heads and shoulders above the West all season so the Cougars will be thankful this isn’t an elimination game.
However, Cockburn is as flammable as any team in the entire competition, especially Carter Skaggs who has had multiple games with double-digit three-pointers made.
So who will win? There’s only one way to find out, watch on Saturday at 7:00pm AWST on NBL1.com.au or the NBL1 App here.
Rockingham Flames v Joondalup Wolves
The last time Rockingham and Joondalup played it ended in tragedy for the Flames, as Jonathan Wade pulled up from half-court to beat the game on the buzzer.
HOLY HELL! As if the @Wolfpacknbl1 Women's win wasn’t remarkable enough.. JONATHAN WADE HITS THIS FOR REMARKABLE WIN OVER ROCKINGHAM??

Elimination Finals
Warwick Senators v Perry Lakes Hawks
The Senators will host the Hawks at home in what it set to be a great game. Both sides have been consistently strong all season and now it comes down to the wire in an elimination final.
Can Kyle Zunic’s Senators beat the Hawks? Find out on Saturday at 7:00pm AWST on Kayo Freebies here.
Goldfields Giants v Mandurah Magic
The Giants have a difficult task ahead at home as Magic’s Ray Turner is a box-sheet stuffer! He averaged 15 points and eight rebounds for the regular season and will trn it up a notch in this one.
