Flames shoot the lights out
The Women's Rockingham Flames had an outstanding game as a team, shooting a ridiculous 53.7 percent from the field and 58.3 percent from three!
Casey Samuels and Marissa Pangalos had 24 points each as the Flames dominated the Lakeside Lightning from tip-off to final siren.
Jade Gowland catches fire from outside
The 21-year-old forward had an eye-catching performance from beyond the arc, making four triples in quick succession during tonight's clash. The Lightning will need more of Gowland if they want to stay competitive for the rest of the season.

Rockingham Flames remain undefeated
The reigning NBL1 West champions and Coles Express NBL1 National Champions are now 6-0 to start the 2023 NBL1 season.
The 2022 NBL1 West MVP Devondrick Walker was as smooth as ever with 17 points, the new import Jeremy Combs has settled in perfectly with 18 points, five rebounds and four assists and Tom Jervis turned back the clock with 19 points, 14 rebounds and four assists.
The Flames are easily the title favourites once again and this performance against the red-hot Lakeside Lightning proves it.
