The Northside Wizards have got their signing season off to a stunning start, securing the signatures of Shyla Heal and Mitch McCarron for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North season.
This will be Heal's first year in NBL1 after previously signing with Hobart but being unable to suit up for a game.
The young gun had a stellar year for the Sydney Uni Flames, finishing as co-MVP alongside Keely Froling.
She also made her Australian Opals debut at the FIBA Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Serbia earlier this year.
McCarron returns for his second NBL1 North season with Northside.
In new NBL colours, McCarron has been thriving after being named the captain of the Adelaide 36ers.
He will look to bring his leadership and clever skills to the Wizards again in 2022.
