The Norwood Flames have announced Georgia Thomson, Aimee Herriman, Paige Keenihan and Chelsea Apacible have re-signed for the forthcoming NBL1 Central season.
These players played in Norwood’s Adelaide Basketball Challenge team last year and form the club’s returning young core.
“I am proud to represent Norwood in the upcoming season. We have been putting in the hard work and I am keen to see how we come together as a team. I am also looking forward to being a part of the girls junior development throughout the club,” Thomson said.
“I am so thankful to be playing for Norwood this coming NBL1 season. I’m keen to put in work and do whatever it takes to help the team. With the direction of coach D-Wash and the energy of the girls, I think we’ll go a long way,” Apacible said.
Norwood has also signed Sophie Kerridge, who last played for the Mildura Heat in the Big V.
Kerridge is a dynamic, fast guard, who will add depth to the Flames’ roster.
The women are currently in full swing of pre-season fitness, under the eye of professional strength and conditioning coach Domenic Musci.
