The NBL1 South's Nunawading Spectres have signed Shaneice Swain for the rest of the 2025 season.
Fresh off a WNBA training camp with the Los Angeles Sparks, the Sydney Flames star on the rise will return to the NBL1 South. Last season she played with Geelong United, averaging 23 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
Using that momentum, she had an explosive campaign with the Flames -- highlighted by her scoring 40 points in a single game against the Townsville Fire.
Upon the signing, head coach Paul Flynn says he cannot wait to add someone of her calibre to the team.
“Shaneice is an incredible talent, and still very much at the start of her career," he said.
"What she's capable of doing on a basketball court is special, and we're appreciative that she sees our team and our program here at Nunawading as an opportunity to continue to develop and propel her career further forward.”
She'll make her debut this weekend in the annual Heritage Round against the Frankston Blues on Saturday night. Watch the game live via NBL1.com.au or the NBL1 App.
