NW Thunder 89 defeated by Eltham 90

Last night's game at Harcourt Arena was intense with several lead changes.  With 5 seconds left in the 4th quarter, Archie Woodhill scored, putting Thunder ahead 89-88.
Amoungst the crowd chanting Thunder, the Eltham's coach called a timeout to set up a final play.  Josh Sykes scored for Eltham, making it 89-90 with 2 seconds remaining.
The game recommenced, with the crowed behind him, Tre Armstrong threw a high pass from the sideline to Archie Woodhill for a slam dunk, but he missed, resulting in Thunder going down by one point at the final siren.  Thunder thanks their supporters for a great atmosphere and a close game.
