The Bears secured the win behind Madeleine O'Hehir's sharp shooting from outside, as she connected on five triples to lead all scorers with 21 points. Ruby Perkins delivered a standout double-double with 20 points and 12 boards while dishing out a game-high six assists. Carla Pitman added another double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while also contributing seven dimes. Norths' dominance on the fast break (4-2) and their bench outscoring Manly's reserves 24-7 proved decisive.
Despite the loss, Taylor Wurtz led Manly with a dominant 29-point performance on efficient 48 percent shooting while grabbing nine rebounds. Josie Bulman caught fire from downtown, hitting all four of her attempts from beyond the arc on her way to 19 points. The Sea Eagles won the battle on the glass 53-52 and generated more points from turnovers (5-2), but couldn't close out the game down the stretch.
