The Pioneers Basketball Club, in partnership with Naming Rights Sponsor OneFortyOne, is proud to present the 2025 Naming Rights Round, dedicated to supporting AC Care and celebrating community spirit. The event will take place on Friday, 27 June, at the Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre, marking another important milestone in the Club’s commitment to social impact.
This year’s event underscores the powerful relationship between OneFortyOne, AC Care, and the Pioneers, built on years of collaboration that benefit the Mount Gambier region.
"Over our seven-year partnership with the Mount Gambier Pioneers the theme game has raised more than $15,000 for local organizations and charities," Nigel Boyd of OneFortyOne said.
"This year we look forward to auctioning the ac.care themed singlets and raising money for the work that ac.care do within our local community."
"The support that OneFortyOne provide our womens program and our basketball club is outstanding and to be able to continue to support them through the Naming Rights Round" Presidents of the Mount Gambier Pioneers said.
A Legacy of Local Engagement
Since 2018, OneFortyOne has partnered with the Pioneers to create meaningful change through initiatives that strengthen community ties.
This includes the annual Limestone Coast Foster Care Easter Event in partnership with AC Care, and more recently, the LifeChanger Program currently running at Grant High School, aimed at empowering young people through mentoring and wellbeing support.
This year’s Naming Rights Round builds on this legacy, shining a spotlight on AC Care’s essential work with families, young people, and foster carers across the Limestone Coast.
Game Night Highlights: Purpose Meets Passion
On the night, the Pioneers Women’s Team will take the court in specially designed uniforms, produced in collaboration with OneFortyOne and AC Care. These unique uniforms will be auctioned live after the game, with 100% of proceeds going to support AC Care's local programs.
Supporters are encouraged to take part in the auction to own a piece of game history while directly contributing to positive social outcomes. Auction details will be made available on the Pioneers website and promoted across official social media channels.
More Than Just a Game
Photos from AC Care showcasing their community outreach will be featured across the Club’s media and digital platforms, helping raise awareness and recognition for the important work being done every day. Fans attending the game can also expect activations, acknowledgements, and giveaways, all designed to celebrate partnership and purpose.
