Amanda Paschal delivered an outstanding performance for Norwood, pouring in 27 points on 52.9 percent shooting while adding seven rebounds, four assists and five steals. The Flames controlled the paint throughout, outscoring Southern 38-18 inside and blocking eight shots to the Tigers' one. Emily Saunders was a force on the boards, pulling down a game-high 17 rebounds as Norwood enjoyed a 101-62 advantage in efficiency rating.
The Southern Tigers struggled with their shooting, connecting on just 31.7 percent of their two-point attempts compared to Norwood's 52.3 percent.
