Perry Lakes reveal three women’s signings

The Perry Lakes Hawks have re-signed Ellie Newman, Jenna Teasdale and Zoe Shanahan for the 2021 NBL1 West season.

Newman was selected to represent Western Australia in the Australian Junior Championships in 2020 but COVID struck and the event was cancelled.

Teasdale has represented WA in the Australian Junior Championships in 2017 and 2018. She is also a home grown Hawks Junior from the City Beach Basketball Club.

Shanahan returns to the line-up after her rookie season in the WCC and is also a junior from City Beach.

All three players players join Annika Renkema, Nat Burton, Megan McKay, Maddy Dennis, Millie McCarthy, Morgan Ballantyne, Sarah Donovan and Beige Harris on Perry Lakes’ 2021 roster.

The Hawks begin their NBL1 West season against the Goldfields Giants on April 17.
