The Perth Redbacks have signed three key players ahead of the 2022 NBL1 West season.
The Redbacks women will welcome back Denielle Ashworth and Raya Thompson while the men will be aided by the experience of college recruit Austin Clarke.
Ashworth was averaging eight points, five rebounds and one assist off the bench in 2021 before going down with an ACL injury one month from the NBL1 West finals.
Her fellow 2022 teammate Thompson knows the feeling all too well, having suffered two knee injuries in her career.
She got through the 2021 season unscathed though, averaging seven points, two assists and three boards per game.
Clarke comes from a famous basketball family, being the son of Marty and Julie Clarke and brother of Willetton's Hunter Clarke.
He arrives in Perth with playing experience at Concordia University in California.
