Pioneers Announce 2025 Team Leadership for OneFortyOne Pioneers and Castec Rural Pioneers

The OneFortyOne Pioneers are proud to announce Isabella Brancatisano as Captain and Haliegh Reinoehl as Vice Captain for the 2025 NBL1 South season.

Brancatisano, a proven leader on and off the court, steps into the captaincy role with a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to the team.

Reinoehl, a formidable presence in the squad, will provide strong support as Vice Captain, ensuring the Pioneers continue to build on their culture of excellence and teamwork.

Head Coach Matt Sutton expressed his confidence in the leadership duo.

"Isa and Haliegh have so many fantastic qualities that make them natural leaders.” he said.

“They are well respected within the group and the community. I look forward to seeing their ownership and evolvement of the leadership roles in our squad." he added.

The appointment of Brancatisano and Reinoehl marks an exciting chapter for the OneFortyOne Pioneers as they gear up for the 2025 season. Their leadership will be instrumental in driving the team’s competitive edge and fostering a strong team culture both on and off the court.

On the men’s side, the Castec Rural Pioneers have named Kane de Wit as captain and Titus Robinson as vice captain. Both players bring a strong sense of leadership, dedication, and competitive drive to the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Head Coach Richard Hill shared his excitement for the appointments.

"I’m tremendously pleased and proud to announce that Kane and Titus will be our captain and vice captain respectively for 2025," he said.

"These two men are the epitome of what we see as leaders both on and off court. Not only will they provide great leadership, I expect them to have tremendous seasons for our club. They are both in great shape and have been performing at a high level in our pre-season games," he added.

With these leadership appointments, the Pioneers Basketball Club is
well-positioned for a strong 2025 campaign.
