Beth’s tireless dedication to the growth of basketball across Mount Gambier and the wider region continues to inspire future generations.

The Allan Scott Medal – Castec Rural Pioneers Men’s MVP
This prestigious honour is named in memory of the late Allan Scott, who played a pivotal role in founding the Pioneers Basketball Club in 1988. Supported by his wife Grace, son Ray, and daughter-in-law Jill, the Scott family’s contribution to the club spans decades. The medal is awarded to the Most Valuable Player from the Castec Rural Pioneers Men’s team.

Team Awards
Presented by the Head Coaches, a range of Team Awards will acknowledge individual efforts that have driven success and upheld team values across the 2025 season.

Among these is the Kurt Russell Finals Player of the Year, awarded to the standout contributor from the Castec Rural Pioneers Men’s 2025 finals campaign.

All team awards are generously supported by the club’s Naming Rights and Platinum Partners.

Pathways Technical Official Award (New in 2025)
Introduced this season, this award highlights the commitment of individuals involved in the sport’s technical pathway. Eligible recipients include referees, statisticians, and scoretable officials who contribute to both the Pioneers and the wider Mount Gambier basketball community.

Philadelphia Cream Cheese Fans Player of the Year
