Raiders Complete Womens Roster with Chelsea Burns

The Knox Raiders have signed Chelsea Burns for the 2021 NBL1 seaon, a veteran with a wealth of winning experience.

Burns, a versatile player who is a dominant defender on the perimeter, most recently played with the Sunbury Jets, where they won three championships in a row. Chelsea has also won SEABL championships, with both Frankston and Dandenong.

Head coach Kennedy Kereama is thrilled with the basketball knowledge Burns will bring to the group.

“Chelsea is a very experienced campaigner who has played basketball at all levels," said Kereama.

"She brings a great level of basketball I.Q and defensive presence with a mix of versatility at both ends of the court."

"Certainly her leadership and experience will play an important role for us.”
