Knox Raiders dominated Diamond Valley Eagles 104-73 on Saturday at Diamond Valley Sports & Fitness Centre. The Raiders controlled the game from early on, building their lead to as much as 38 points and holding the advantage for over 32 minutes.
Knox's offence was clicking on all cylinders, shooting 49 percent from the field while dishing out 15 assists. The Raiders dominated in the paint with 54 points compared to Diamond Valley's 28. Keli Leaupepe and Ade Murkey both scored 18 points, while Tad Dufelmeier added 17 points, six assists and seven boards. Dufelmeier was particularly efficient, shooting 78 percent from the field including three triples.
Despite the lopsided score, Diamond Valley had strong individual performances from Jock Perry who recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Ngor Manyang added 18 points including four triples. The Eagles struggled with ball control, committing 17 turnovers to Knox's seven, which led to 14 points off turnovers for the Raiders.
